Are UK driving and theory tests still taking place?

All UK tests have been postponed. All theory tests have been cancelled up to and including 30 May 2020 and the practical driving test for up to 3 months from Saturday 21st March 2020.

Should I still take driving lessons with an approved driving instructor (ADI)?

Currently (27th March 2020) ADIs should not be conducting driving lessons under the UK government’s guidelines. We will update this when the current restrictions are lifted.

Are driving lessons OK with a member of my family or friends?

The UK Government’s guidelines (11th May 2020) are changing allowing more freedom of movement. Our opinion is that you should be able to undertake driving lessons with a person you live with as long as you are travelling to for instance somewhere to exercise as per the revised guidelines. We will update this when there is more information.

What can I do to get ready for driving lessons or the UK driving tests when the restrictions are lifted?
